Who can you romance in The Witch’s Bakery?
You can pursue a romance with Estelle, the sole romance option identified by the publisher. Narrative choices influence how the relationship develops, and Sunny Lab confirms that Lunne and Estelle can become a couple. Follow her available scenes and listen to what each conversation is asking before choosing how Lunne responds.

The developers also explain that Estelle’s relationship with Lunne remains central to the story without romance. Her scenes therefore matter when you choose a friendship-focused playthrough too. For the wider cast, use the character directory.

When and where do you first meet Estelle?
You first meet Estelle in Chapter 2, when she visits Lunne’s bakery. Continue the opening story until that introduction and finish the conversation it presents. Her official profile identifies her as Estelle Berger, a finance expert leading a consulting firm, which gives context to the professional side of her early conversations with Lunne.
| First-meeting detail | Confirmed information |
|---|---|
| Character | Estelle Berger |
| Introduction | Chapter 2 |
| Meeting place | Lunne’s bakery |
| Professional role | Finance expert and head of a consulting firm |

Use the beginner guide if you are still learning the daily routine before her introduction. Once she appears, note the next person, place or appointment mentioned by the dialogue.
How do you follow her first appointments and office visits?
Follow the reply that schedules your appointment, then attend the office visit when the story makes it available. Check the appointment information before travelling and finish the conversation on arrival. The published early walkthrough links these visits with a later invitation to eat together, giving you concrete scenes to look for as her story continues.
| Where you are in the early story | Next action documented by the walkthrough |
|---|---|
| The first Palace visit ends at a story barrier | Leave as directed and speak with Ghaldari |
| Estelle sends her reply | Read the appointment date |
| The office appointment becomes available | Visit after work; the walkthrough names Grand Boulevards |
| You reach the office | Enter the building and follow Estelle |
| A later meeting continues the story | Speak at reception and use the invitation to eat together when offered |

Which dialogue choices should you pay attention to?
Pay attention to choices that define Lunne’s response to Estelle, because the publisher explicitly ties romance to narrative decisions. Read the current scene before choosing and record the response alongside what happens next. When a Palace asks you to interpret a memory, use that story context to understand the question being presented.

Early Palace story answer (spoiler)
In the documented return to Estelle’s Palace after an office visit and meal invitation, the walkthrough selects “she doesn’t like her job.” This answers that story question; it does not establish an affection bonus or a universal answer for other scenes.

| What to record | Why it is useful |
|---|---|
| The question or situation | Identifies the scene your note belongs to |
| Lunne’s selected response | Preserves the decision you actually made |
| The following dialogue or event | Lets you connect the decision with its visible result |
| Any new objective | Gives you an action to follow in the next session |
Keep this as a scene log. Mark a result only after you have seen it, and keep observations from different conversations in separate entries.
Which Estelle relationship achievements should you track?
Steam lists Estelle relationship achievements at levels one through four. If you are working toward every Estelle milestone, include the level-four entry in your checklist rather than stopping at level three. Match the achievement’s name and requirement with your progress, and keep following the available character events as they appear.
| Relationship level | Steam achievement |
|---|---|
| 1 | An Honest Partner |
| 2 | A Romantic Play |
| 3 | A Sweet Dinner |
| 4 | A Moment Beyond Words |
The percentage is rounded from four milestones divided by Steam’s 60 achievements. It describes the achievement list, not an affection meter. Source: official Steam achievements.
What should you check when Estelle’s story stops advancing?
Identify the type of instruction you last received: a meeting date, a destination, a Palace interaction or a request to leave and learn more. Check that instruction before repeating the same action. Keep the scene, objective and platform in your notes so a persistent issue can be described clearly when you ask for help.
| Current situation | Useful next check |
|---|---|
| You have not reached her introduction | Continue the main story toward Chapter 2 |
| A meeting was scheduled | Re-read the appointment date and location |
| An office visit is active | Follow the current travel and conversation prompts |
| A Palace barrier gives a story instruction | Follow that lead outside the Palace |
| A puzzle route is still incomplete | Compare the room with the Palace guide |
| A release save repeatedly fails at the same action | Collect the objective, game version, platform and steps for a support report |
Played the Steam demo before starting the release?
Sunny Lab’s October 15 notice says to select the public release branch and start a new game instead of continuing a demo save. Demo saves are incompatible and can cause progression problems. This check applies to former demo players; keep a valid full-release save unless support advises otherwise.
For a reproducible issue, check the official Steam discussions for an existing report, then include the details that distinguish your scene. The publisher recommends checking existing reports before adding another in its Before You Buy FAQ.
