The official Ghaldari introduction places his shop, Dans la Toile, in Passage Verdeau.

How do you use the map in The Witch’s Bakery?

Use the phone map to select a destination, inspect its information panel and confirm travel. The official PC screenshot shows separate commands for moving around the map, travelling, closing the phone and going back. Read the destination before confirming so you arrive at the place relevant to your current objective.

What does the selected destination tell you?

The destination panel tells you which location is selected, what activities it offers and whether a local quest note is displayed. In the official Passage Verdeau example, activities and the quest appear in different boxes. Read both: a restaurant listing identifies an activity, while the Ghaldari note points toward a story lead.

Panel element Passage Verdeau example How to use it
Destination name Passage Verdeau Confirm the district you intend to visit
Description A covered Paris passage with shops Recognise the location’s setting
Activities Decoration store and restaurant Compare the reason for your outing
Quest A note that Ghaldari has his shop there Follow the lead after arriving

The map picture documents this interface and example destination. Keep the beginner guide’s daily routine in mind when deciding what to do after the bakery closes.

Which Paris locations and shops are confirmed?

Passage Verdeau and Le Quai des Bouquinistes are documented Paris locations, and Dans la Toile is Ghaldari’s shop within Passage Verdeau. Keep the district and shop names together in your notes so you can choose a destination before looking for an individual storefront. The table records confirmed places and their documented roles.

Le Quai des Bouquinistes Paris district highlighted by the developer Booksellers and collectors; a useful place to investigate when browsing books Official game description

The developer confirms that exploring Paris can lead to books for new recipes. Check each book’s description in your game; this does not establish a particular shop’s complete inventory, prices or unlock requirements.

Where should you look for Ghaldari?

Look in Passage Verdeau for Dans la Toile, the magical shop run by Ghaldari. His official character introduction identifies both names, and the phone-map screenshot independently places a Ghaldari quest lead in that district. Use the district as your travel destination, then follow the current scene’s dialogue and interaction prompts to continue.

The official introduction describes a shop filled with magical objects and enchanted tools. Our character directory explains Ghaldari’s role and his connection with Mirembe.

How should you record a location for later?

Write the district first, followed by the shop or character and the reason for visiting. For example: Passage Verdeau → Dans la Toile → follow Ghaldari’s current dialogue. Add an appointment time only when the game gives one, and update your note after the relevant conversation.

How should you choose your next trip?

Choose a trip around the task you want to complete, then compare it with the map and current dialogue. A recipe search, a character conversation and a Heart Palace objective need different checks. Write down the next action before travelling so you can recognise when the visit has achieved what you intended.

Your goal Check before travelling Useful next guide
Find another recipe Read available book descriptions and note the unlock source Recipes and atelier preparation
Meet a character Check the named district and any appointment information the game provides Characters and relationships
Continue a troubled-heart storyline Read the current dialogue and the destination’s quest note Heart Palace puzzles
Buy decoration Inspect the destination’s shop listing, then compare the items offered Getting started

This is a planning checklist. Use the game’s current availability when an activity or conversation is offered.

Which exploration achievements are useful to track?

Track books, the Backer’s Monument and your theatre and concert visits as you explore. Steam lists specific achievements for these goals, plus a combined activity objective. Record the activity you completed and where it happened, then compare that record with the achievement requirements instead of assuming that visiting a district completes everything there.

Steam achievement Listed requirement
The Founding Backers Visit the Backer’s Monument
Bookworm Read every book
Molière Hall Attend eight theatre plays
Music is Life Attend eight concerts
